The first thing to consider when buying a laptop is what you want to use your laptop for. When I was buying a laptop, I had a specific task in mind. The idea was to get away from my home office and spend more time with the family while still working as much as I could. That meant I was buying a laptop to sit in my favorite chair while working away as the family sat around watching tv.
